About Kim

Forty years of kitchen wisdom, now plants first

I'm Kim — a chef, a wellness advocate, and a firm believer that the healthiest food you'll ever eat should also be the food you can't wait to sit down to.

My story

I started in professional kitchens at nineteen — scraping sheet pans, prepping onions by the fifty-pound sack, and learning from chefs who had cooked their whole lives. Over the next four decades I cooked in banquet halls, bistros, and farm-to-table restaurants, and I loved nearly every minute of it.

But food has a way of teaching you when you're ready to listen. In my 40's, my own health started asking questions I couldn't ignore. My doctor talked about numbers; I thought about plates. I decided to meet the moment the only way I know how — in the kitchen.

So I rebuilt my cooking from the ground up: organic first, plants first. I brought everything four decades of craft had taught me — knife skills, flavor-building, timing, technique — and pointed it all at vegetables, legumes, whole grains, and fruit.

What I discovered surprised even me: eating this way isn't a sacrifice. It's a return to what food always was before we got busy — fresh, honest, and grown close to home. Today I feel better in my 50's than I did in my 30's, and my kitchen has never been more alive.

What I believe

Forty years of cooking distilled into a few honest principles.

Organic first, always

Living soil grows living food. When I can, I choose organic — for the flavor, for my health, and for the ground my grandchildren will inherit.

Plants lead, never lecture

Plant-based isn't a membership card, it's a plate. I cook food so good nobody asks where the meat went.

Fast is a feature

Real people have real evenings. Every recipe I share is tested to land on the table in thirty minutes or less, start to finish.

Flavor carries health

Nutrition that doesn't taste wonderful doesn't last. Craft is what makes healthy food something you crave.

Progress over perfection

You don't need a perfect pantry to eat well. Start where you are, with the meal in front of you, and grow from there.

Food is connection

The best meals are shared ones. Cooking for the people you love — including yourself — is an act of care, not a chore.
